My background

My previous career experience has been entirely focused on the education sector. After graduating from my MA in Translation, I moved to Madrid and worked as an Education Consultant, where I supported Spanish students with their university applications, and worked with overseas universities on their outreach in Spain. Following this, in my most recent role, I worked as Recruiter for Teach First; a leading teacher training programme in the UK which seeks to bridge gaps in educational inequality.

Outside of my career, I absolutely love travelling and was fortunate to go backpacking in Asia last year for 5 months. This was a hugely rewarding experience. I also love caring for animals, reading and journalling in my free time. In addition to completing a bootcamp in programming, I've also started learning Portuguese! Generally, I love learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
